About Our School
Kalika Secondary School is located in Jiri Municipality- 9 Chipchipe Dolakha, Which was established in 2034 B.S (1978 A.D) with the help of local residents. They realized the need of educating their children and as a result this school was set up in an open ground in northern part of Jiri. It was established as a primary school. In 2034 B.S. it was upgraded to lower secondary level school in 2068 B.S. and in 2069 B.S. to secondary level school. We, at this moment are sharing and caring pain and gain with 16 teaching and 2 nonteaching staffs, one staff nurse, one librarian and 320 students. Classes are running from 10 a.m to 4 p.m in both English and Nepali language. Kalika owes 2 RCC buildings with 22 rooms , 30 computers in one computer lab, science lab, two hostels, a big library with spacious reading room and enough number of WASH toilets expanding to 14 ropani land . It also has a big football ground and some other courts and field for games and sports. It is linked with electricity and net internet. Many students come to this school from far away. It is one of the leading community schools in this area. Many poor students as well as the students from the remote area are studying in this school. Kalika has a tried its best to be judged in good governance. We paly crucial role in an educational institute of Jiri Municipality- 9, Dolakha. We are solely responsible for cultivating ethics and moral value within students and responsible for completing syllabus on time. As a teacher, we act as a friend to students to guide them in their dally routine life. As well as we act a leader in a school a person who takes on extra tasks such as leading the PTA meetings and event helping setup a gym for a big event. Teacher who are active in the school will often have more jobs than just the one they ware hired to perform. Knowledge of the subject to have to have expert knowledge of subject area. On the other hand, we guide to right path at every bad or good situation.
We seek to inspire students in all aspect of their lives, and for many teacher, their greatest goal is to be a role module. A role module is some one who inspires and encourages students to strive for greatness and teaches them throughs experience and commitment, how to realize their full potential to become the best they can be. Teachers can inspire and an interested uninterested student to become engrossed in learning.
